Kwam1 Expresses Disappointment with Kollington Ayinla Over Mother’s Burial Snub

Date:

Renowned Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam1, has publicly expressed his disappointment with his mentor and senior colleague, Ayinla Kollington, for failing to condole with him following the death of his mother.

Speaking during an interview on Agbaletu Radio with OAP Bamidele Adeyanju, Kwam1 recalled how he personally took charge of arrangements during Kollington’s mother’s burial, covering all expenses and inviting high-profile dignitaries to the event.

Kwam1 said he expected the same level of support when his mother passed on January 18, 2025, but was met with silence.

“I’m very angry with Alhaji Kollington for not reaching out or offering condolences when I lost my mother,” he said. “I supported him 100% during his own mother’s burial, but he paid me back wrongly. He claimed he called, and I didn’t pick. Is that enough excuse?”

The video of the interview, now making the rounds on social media, has sparked conversations among fans and music lovers over loyalty and respect in the Fuji music industry.
