Benin City — The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for fostering a progressive and committed workforce in Nigeria through reforms across various sectors, particularly education.
Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, gave the commendation in a statement released on Friday at the board’s headquarters in Benin City, in celebration of the 2025 Workers’ Day.
Dr. Mohammed praised the Tinubu-led administration for prioritizing workers’ welfare and driving efforts to address economic challenges. He acknowledged this year’s Workers’ Day theme, “Reclaiming the Civic Space in the Midst of Economic Hardship,” as a timely reminder of the vital role of workers in national development, even in tough economic conditions.
“But the cheerful news for us is that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration is assiduously working to address these challenges and put the country on a glorious path to recovery. In no distant time, the gains will begin to manifest for our good and the good of our nation,” he stated.
The NABTEB boss also celebrated the board’s staff, describing them as the backbone of the organization. He noted that the diverse skills, qualities, and perspectives they bring are instrumental to NABTEB’s mission.
“As we join Mr. President to work towards a better and more prosperous Nigeria, I thank you for the work you have done, the work you do, your unwavering commitment, and urge you to remain loyal, dedicated, and law-abiding,” he added.
Dr. Mohammed reiterated NABTEB’s support for its workforce and expressed confidence in the continued impact of reforms under the current administration.
