Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., made his debut for Portugal’s Under-15 national team on Tuesday during a 4–1 victory over Japan.
The 14-year-old forward, who plays in Al Nassr’s academy, came off the bench in the 54th minute with Portugal already leading 3–0, thanks to a hat trick from Braga’s Rafael Cabral.
Following the match, his father expressed pride in a post on X (formerly Twitter):
“Congratulations on your Portugal debut, son. Very proud of you.”

The game was Portugal’s opening fixture at the Vlatko Markovic international tournament in Croatia. They are set to face Greece on Wednesday, England on Friday, and will conclude the group phase on Sunday against a yet-to-be-confirmed opponent.
