Burna Boy Shares Why He Loves Black Women

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has opened up about his deep admiration for Black women.

In a recent interview with Cocoa Butter in Atlanta, Georgia, the ‘African Giant’ crooner was asked about his favourite thing about Black women. His response was both personal and profound.

“First of all, it’s the fact that they are an extension of me. I must always love myself, so I must love my Black women,” Burna Boy said.

The Afro-fusion star has consistently celebrated Black women in his music, with tracks like “Onyeka,” “Omo,” and “On The Low” paying tribute to their beauty, strength, and essence.

Burna Boy’s comments continue to reflect his cultural pride and commitment to uplifting the image of Black identity through his music and public persona.
