Jandor Pledges Support for Tinubu’s Re-election Bid in 2027

Date:

LAGOS – Former Lagos governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has pledged full support for President Bola Tinubu’s potential re-election in 2027.

Speaking during a rally on Friday in Ojo, Lagos, Jandor publicly reaffirmed his return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and promised to mobilise his team to ensure Tinubu secures a second term.

He described Tinubu as a selfless leader whose bold reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidy, demonstrate a commitment to national progress over political gain.

“Removal of fuel subsidy makes Tinubu a selfless President because he would have ordinarily allowed the status quo to remain to secure second term in office,” Jandor said.

He argued that Tinubu’s ongoing economic and structural reforms, along with the wave of defections from other parties into the APC, signal growing national support for the president.

“Our priority is to ensure that we see to how this man will return in 2027 to further reposition the country,” he said.

Jandor, who ran for Lagos governor under the PDP in the 2023 election, formally announced his defection back to the APC on March 3.
