UK-based Ugandan model, Eva Apio, has broken her silence on the widespread speculation surrounding her alleged romantic relationship with Nigerian Afrobeats star, Asake.
Rumours about the pair being an item intensified after they were repeatedly spotted together at public events, sparking curiosity among fans and entertainment watchers.
However, in a post on her official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday, Apio firmly denied ever being in a relationship with the singer. Her response came after a viral tweet featured a photo of the two with the caption: “Asake and his Girlfriend (Eva Apio).”
Reacting directly to the post, Apio wrote, “I was never his girlfriend.”
The brief but clear statement has since generated a flurry of reactions online, with fans sharing mixed opinions about the nature of their past appearances together.
