Mr Macaroni Condemns Police Over Death of Schoolboy Killed by Stray Bullet in Ibadan

Date:

Nigerian activist and comedian, Mr Macaroni, has expressed deep outrage over the killing of a schoolboy by a stray bullet allegedly fired by a police officer in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The tragic incident reportedly occurred near Gbagi Market during a police pursuit of a vehicle. Eyewitnesses claimed that an officer opened fire during the chase, and a stray bullet struck a secondary school student sitting in his father’s car.

The student, who was heading to sit for the ongoing WAEC examination with his twin brother, was rushed to Welfare Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

In response, angry protesters reportedly carried the boy’s body to the Oyo State Secretariat in an attempt to draw the attention of Governor Seyi Makinde.

Mr Macaroni, visibly shaken by the news, took to social media to condemn the Nigerian Police Force, calling for accountability and justice for the slain student.
