The Super Eagles have officially opened their training camp in England ahead of the much-anticipated 2025 Unity Cup, with 20 players already reporting for duty. The tournament, aimed at promoting national and regional unity through football, will see Nigeria face off against arch-rivals Ghana at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium.
Early arrivals include a mix of experienced internationals and emerging talents, intensifying the competitive atmosphere as the team ramps up preparations for the headline fixture.
Among the players already in camp are Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Kelechi Iheanacho, Semi Ajayi, Frank Onyeka, Nathan Tella, Cyriel Dessers, Felix Agu, Igho Ogbu, Wilfred Ndidi, Bruno Onyemaechi, Junior Nduka, Sadiq Ismaila, Waliu Ojetoye, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, Papa Mustapha, Saviour Isaac, Collins Ogwueze, Sikiru Alimi, and Abubakar Adamu.
Still expected to join are goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali, Maduka Okoye, and Amas Obasogie, along with outfield players Chrisantus Uche, Samuel Chukwueze, and Tolu Arokodare.
With spirits high and competition for spots fierce, the Super Eagles are eyeing a strong performance that not only secures victory but also strengthens unity among fans at home and abroad.
