Comedian-Turned-Singer Nasboi Begins 36-Day Kneeling Tour to Get Davido’s Attention

Date:

Popular Nigerian comedian and singer Nasboi has launched a bold campaign to capture the attention of Afrobeats superstar Davido by embarking on a 36-day kneeling tour across Nigeria.

The entertainer, known for his hilarious Davido impressions, revealed that the nationwide effort is a heartfelt plea for a feature from the award-winning singer, following several unsuccessful attempts. The campaign officially began on Wednesday.

Nasboi took to Instagram to announce the initiative, posting a photo of himself kneeling with a placard in front of the Osun State Government Secretariat. The placard read as a plea to Davido, and in his caption, Nasboi expressed hope that his dream collaboration would finally come true.

By Thursday, he was spotted continuing his quest at the Kano State Government House, again on his knees with the same message.

“I will be kneeling across the 36 states for 36 days. I pray this dream comes to pass. Please just tag @davido everyday when you see the post,” he wrote on social media.

Nasboi also revealed that he has been mimicking Davido for the past five years as part of his effort to break into the music scene and attract the singer’s attention. His unique approach has sparked conversations online, with fans applauding his persistence and creative strategy.

Whether the public campaign will earn him the long-desired feature remains to be seen, but Nasboi’s determination is already winning hearts across the country.
