Nollywood Actor Daniel Etim-Effiong Opens Up About Brief Stint as a Womanizer

Date:

Popular Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong recently revealed that he was once a womanizer, although it was only for a short period in his life.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the engineer-turned-actor described that phase as a time of exploration and learning. He admitted dating multiple women simultaneously but stressed it was not a long-term lifestyle.

When asked if those were good periods, Etim-Effiong replied, “If I learned, then they were good periods.”

He shared valuable advice for young people, cautioning against womanizing because it can negatively affect future relationships and marriages.

“It is cool to be a player but if you develop that habit or lifestyle, you won’t automatically change overnight,” he warned.

Etim-Effiong emphasized that the mindset and habits formed before marriage often carry on afterward, making it difficult to commit and handle relationship challenges.

“If you are the kind of person that before you got married it was easy for you to just walk away, keep different relationships, keep ladies on the string, that won’t change when you get married,” he said.

His reflections offer an insightful look at personal growth and the importance of commitment in relationships.
