Skales Urges Artists to Stay Consistent, Says Many Quit Before Success Arrives

Date:

Popular Nigerian musician Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, known as Skales, has advised fellow artists to remain consistent and patient, warning that many miss their breakthrough moments by quitting too early.

Sharing his thoughts on his X handle on Monday, Skales emphasized that determination is key in the music industry.

“Your music will take you places all over the globe. You just need to be consistent enough to see it happen. Most artists quit before the blessings show up. Keep going,” he wrote.

The artist’s message comes shortly after his 2014 hit track Shake Body experienced a resurgence, going viral again due to Barcelona teen star Lamine Yamal’s popular dance to the song. Skales previously noted that the trend marked a fresh start in his musical journey.
