Arsenal have entered advanced negotiations with RB Leipzig for the signing of Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano shared the update via his official X account on Friday, stating that while discussions are progressing well between all parties, an agreement is not expected to be finalised over the weekend.
“Understand Arsenal are now advancing in negotiations for Benjamin Sesko after initial concrete talks reported last week. Discussions are underway and proceeding well between all parties involved, players & clubs. No agreement yet now or expected this weekend; but advancing,” he posted.
Manager Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen his forward line after Arsenal finished second in the Premier League for a second straight season.
The 21-year-old Sesko, known for his pace and clinical finishing, has a reported release clause of £92.5 million, making the potential deal a major financial commitment for the Gunners.
