Wizkid Says Vision Key to Success at Documentary Premiere

Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has emphasized the importance of vision in achieving success.

Speaking to NBC 4 at the Wizkid: Long Live Lagos documentary premiere during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on Friday, the 34-year-old said success starts with a dream.

Asked whether he had always envisioned his rise to global stardom, Wizkid replied, “Yeah, absolutely, man. You have to dream it before you achieve it. So, yeah, [I’ve] always [known I would be successful].”

He advised young people to stay true to themselves, work hard, and maintain their faith in God as they pursue their goals.

Wizkid also used the event to publicly unveil his daughter, Morayo, with partner Jada Pollock. The singer was seen cradling the child while posing for photos alongside Jada and members of his team.
