Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia is set to part with millions in assets and property as his divorce from Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams drags on.
Williams filed for divorce in February 2024, just 15 months after their wedding, triggering a legal battle over the enforcement of a prenuptial agreement signed before their marriage.
According to US Weekly, Guobadia blamed his decision to sign the prenup on Williams’ alleged misrepresentation about leaving RHOA. Despite his objections, the agreement is expected to hold in court.
The prenup reportedly compels Guobadia to split the equity of his $7 million pre-marital home with Williams, in addition to covering significant debts and expenses for her benefit.
The divorce proceedings were delayed after Guobadia was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), but the case has resumed following his return to Nigeria.
