Super Falcons Retain 36th Spot in FIFA Women’s Ranking

Date:

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have maintained their 36th position in the latest FIFA Women’s World Ranking, according to the update released Thursday on FIFA’s official website.

Despite the absence of major international tournaments in recent weeks, Nigeria continues to lead the continent as Africa’s highest-ranked women’s national team.

Earlier this month, the Falcons secured a 2–0 win over Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses in a friendly match at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta, showcasing their solid form under head coach Justine Madugu.

The United States remains at the top of the global ranking.

FIFA will release the next edition of the Women’s World Ranking on August 7, 2025.
