LAGOS — The brief marriage between actor Linc Edochie and his wife, Yinka Theisan, has ended in a dramatic and highly public fallout, with Yinka vowing to respond in kind after what she described as a humiliating split.
The couple, who were married for less than a month, parted ways publicly, stirring intense conversation across social media platforms.
In a Facebook post, Yinka accused Linc — elder brother of actor Yul Edochie — of ending their union abruptly and cruelly. She claimed that following an argument, Linc blocked her and broke off the relationship without warning.
“You may all continue to laugh at me. I had a quarrel with Linc this morning and was upset and threatened to break up. Next thing I was blocked and he broke up in the most embarrassing way,” she wrote.
Yinka also alleged that Linc’s brother, Leo, recorded and shared a “nasty” voice note about her, further intensifying her anger. She stressed that while others might ridicule her, she refuses to be silent or ashamed.
“The same Linc who gave May my number is defending himself… Since he has cowardly embarrassed me on social media, I will respond in kind,” she added.
The conflict reportedly escalated after a confrontation between Yinka and Linc’s sister-in-law, May Edochie, during which both parties allegedly shared each other’s personal contact details online. Linc later distanced himself from the online drama and was subsequently unfollowed by Yinka on social media.
Although Yinka initially appeared to declare the relationship over, she later shared posts praising Linc, referring to him as “Odogwu.” However, she later deleted those messages and posted content suggesting she was seeking divine guidance.
The messy breakup has drawn widespread attention, with many observers commenting on the volatile nature of the short-lived union and the emotional toll playing out in public.
