Former NGE President Mustapha Isah Loses Mother at 80

Mrs. Medina Isah, mother of the immediate past President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), Mustapha Isah, has passed away at the age of 80.

She died on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Auchi General Hospital in Edo State, where she had been receiving treatment for an illness.

A devout Muslim and well-known philanthropist, Mrs. Isah was widely respected for her contributions to her community and commitment to humanitarian causes.

She was buried on the same day in accordance with Islamic rites.

Mrs. Medina Isah is survived by her husband, Chief Isah Umoru Osikhekha, the Ovhoitse of Ubuneke in Ivbiaro, Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State, along with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
