LAGOS – Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor and Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, has launched an Independent Campaign Group (ICG) to rally support for All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the upcoming Local Government Elections in Lagos State.
The ICG, unveiled on Monday, comprises grassroots mobilizers, party loyalists, youth volunteers, and community leaders across the 377 wards and 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) of the state.
Speaking at the official inauguration of the group, Jandor reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening democracy at the grassroots and promoting quality representation under the APC.
“This campaign group is not just about politics,” he said, “it is about ensuring quality representation at the grassroots, consolidating the gains of good governance, and empowering the people to choose credible leaders under our great party, the APC.”
Jandor, who pledged to personally fund and coordinate the group’s activities, said the initiative reflects his belief in the future of Lagos and the strength of its people.
The event drew key political figures, including APC Lagos State Chairman Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi and former PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate Alh. Safuratu Abdul-Kareem, as well as youth and community leaders.
Structured with 24 state apex leaders, 57 local government coordinators, and 377 ward leaders, the Jandor ICG will carry out intensive ward-to-ward engagement, door-to-door voter mobilisation, voter education, and media campaigns aimed at reinforcing APC’s message of development and responsive leadership.
