Veteran Afrobeats star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has dismissed rumours suggesting he is financially broke.
Speaking on a recent episode of the +234 Mzansi Podcast hosted by actor and media personality Nedu, the legendary singer clarified that despite stepping back from the music spotlight, he remains financially secure.
“I’m not broke. I invested my money. I can live with or without music,” 2Baba stated confidently.
Widely regarded as one of Africa’s most bankable music figures, the ‘African Queen’ crooner revealed that he has channeled his earnings into ventures spanning real estate, hospitality, and his record label.
2Baba’s remarks come amid persistent speculation over his music career and finances, but the singer insists he remains comfortable and focused on his business interests.
