Emmanuella, the wife of popular Nigerian skit maker Carter Efe, has declared that she is not ashamed of her husband’s eccentric behaviour in comedy skits, stating that she actively encourages his creative style.
During a recent livestream session alongside Carter Efe, Emmanuella addressed critics who often assume she may be embarrassed by his antics online. She clarified that most of the stunts are done with her full knowledge and support.
“I know most of you see him online doing stuff and you feel like maybe he’s disgracing me. To be honest, before he does it, I’m aware. So, how can I be embarrassed or ashamed of who I already know?” she said.
Emmanuella went on to reveal that she even advises him to go all out with his skits, noting that the bold content is part of what makes his brand unique and entertaining.
“I’m actually the one who advises him to do crazy stunts. He’s not embarrassing me. I’m even the one who encourages him to do those stunts. So, I’m never ashamed of my man,” she added.
She urged other women to support their partners regardless of their profession, saying, “Don’t ever be ashamed of whatever your man is doing.”
Carter Efe, known for his comedic flair and viral skits, has built a reputation for pushing the boundaries of humour on social media.
