Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber has made history on the Billboard charts following the release of his seventh studio album, Swag, which celebrates his journey into fatherhood.
The album, featuring Bieber’s wife Hailey and their son Jack Blues on the cover, stormed the charts with 16 tracks making entries on the Billboard Hot 100. The lead single, Daisies, debuted at number 2, further cementing Bieber’s dominance in the music scene.
With these entries, Bieber now holds the record for the most Billboard Hot 100 chart appearances by a male singer — 121 songs — surpassing Chris Brown.
Daisies also marks Bieber’s 27th top 10 hit, tying him with Janet Jackson for the 10th-most top 10 entries in the chart’s history.
In a rare feat, Bieber became the first artist ever to debut at number 2 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously. Swag launched at number 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, while Daisies entered the Hot 100 at number 2.
In other chart news, Teddy Swims’ hit Lose Control has officially made history as the first song to spend 100 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. The song, which previously peaked at number 1, remains in the top 10.
