Ex-BBNaija Housemates Hail Show’s Impact on Their Careers

Date:

Former Big Brother Naija housemates have credited the reality show for transforming their lives and accelerating their careers in entertainment.

Speaking at a birthday celebration for the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, in Lagos, several ex-housemates shared how the platform helped shape their journeys.

Ebuka, who has become a renowned TV personality, said the show changed his career path. “It definitely made me a TV presenter. I was a lawyer, but Big Brother made me realise I had a gift for speaking,” he said.

Actress Bisola Aiyeola noted that the show fast-tracked her rise. “I knew I was going to succeed, but Big Brother Naija took it zillion steps faster to the top,” she said.

Actor and filmmaker Elozonam echoed similar sentiments, stating the show gave his brand massive exposure.

Mercy Eke, a former winner, said BBNaija changed her life entirely. “It changed me, changed my brand, changed my whole existence,” she said.

Actor Gideon Okeke reflected on his humble beginnings. “Big Brother Naija brought me out to the world. Otherwise, I would be in the ghetto,” he shared.

TV host KimOprah described the show as “an amazing platform” that introduces talents to the world.

Podcaster Adekunle added, “Big Brother gave me a platform and made millions of people know me.”

Singer Laycon, another winner, summed it up simply: “It took my career off the roof.”
