Nigerian music stars Burna Boy and Mr Eazi have been named among the featured artists on the upcoming F1: The Movie – The Album, a companion soundtrack to the highly anticipated Formula 1-themed film.
The album’s tracklist was unveiled on April 29, 2025, alongside its first release — Lose My Mind by Don Toliver featuring Doja Cat.
Other Nigerian-born talents featured include British-Nigerian acts Darkoo and Obongjayar. The project also includes international superstars such as Ed Sheeran, Roddy Ricch, and Doja Cat.
While the songs on the album are not guaranteed to feature in the movie itself, they are curated to reflect the energy, themes, and atmosphere of the F1 cinematic experience.
F1: The Movie is directed by Top Gun: Maverick filmmaker Joseph Kosinski and stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Shea Whigham, Simone Ashley, Lewis Hamilton, and Javier Bardem.
Produced by Apple Studios and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film and album will debut in cinemas and music platforms respectively on June 27, 2025.
