Popular Nigerian gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan has humorously taken credit for Barcelona’s dramatic 3-3 comeback against Inter Milan in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final clash.
Barcelona, who went behind within the first minute of play, managed to fight back in a thrilling encounter on Wednesday night to level the match, setting up an intense return leg at the San Siro.
Reacting on his X handle, Oyekan said his son had predicted an Inter Milan win, but he rejected it in favour of a Barcelona result — and used “mantle” to reverse the outcome.
He wrote, “My son said Inter Milan was going to win, I said no it’s Barca… I had to use mantle to change it. Opelope anointing.”
The light-hearted post drew laughs and engagement from fans who enjoyed the singer’s blend of humour and spiritual flair.
