Manchester United have officially submitted their retained players list to the Premier League, confirming the exit of several senior players as the club prepares for the 2025/2026 season.
Among the notable departures are Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof, and Jonny Evans, all of whom will leave Old Trafford upon the expiration of their contracts this summer.
Eriksen capped off his time at the club by scoring from the penalty spot in United’s 2–0 win over Aston Villa on the final day of the 2024/2025 Premier League campaign. That match marked his 108th appearance for the Red Devils.
Also featuring in that season finale were defenders Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof, who exit the club with 241 and 284 appearances respectively. Both played pivotal roles in United’s backline over the years and brought valuable experience to the squad.
Goalkeeper Tom Heaton has also been listed as a free agent, though discussions are ongoing regarding a possible contract extension.
In addition to the senior squad changes, United have released several academy players as part of a broader summer clear-out.
