Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has publicly called out Burna Boy for allegedly ignoring him after gifting him ₦20 million.
Burna Boy gave Portable the cash reward after his victory over Speed Darlington in a celebrity boxing match held in Lagos. However, Portable claims the money isn’t enough — he’s now asking for a music collaboration instead.
In a trending video on social media, Portable expressed his frustration, saying the Grammy winner has not been responding to his calls or Instagram messages.
“Burna Boy gave me 20 million naira, but he won’t reply my DMs on Instagram, pick my calls, or even link me. I don’t even have his number. The 20M will finish — what I really need from him is a verse,” he said. “Why are you so stingy with your replies?”
Portable, known for his bold statements and dramatic antics, said he values long-term connections and opportunities more than temporary cash gifts.
