Efia Odo Shuts Down Deportation Rumours, Shares Proof of Stay in New York

Date:

Popular Ghanaian actress and singer Efia Odo has debunked rumours circulating in the media that she was deported from the United States.

The speculation, which surfaced on some Ghanaian platforms, suggested that the outspoken entertainer had been forced to leave the US, fueling online debate about her absence from the country.

In response to a fan’s inquiry on X (formerly Twitter), who asked, “Efia, why them deport you cos it’s been a while you went back to the US?” Efia quickly dismissed the rumour.

“I’ve been in New York 2 weeks now. Y’all be too nosey,” she replied, attaching a recent photo of herself in the city as proof.

The actress, known for her bold persona and vocal presence on social media, has not indicated any issues with her US travel status. Her post appears to have put the deportation claims to rest.
