Controversial Nigerian artist Speed Darlington has responded to Burna Boy’s ₦20 million gift to singer Portable, following Portable’s victory over him in the celebrity boxing match tagged ‘Chaos in the Rings’.
It was reported that Portable triumphed over Darlington in the bout held on Friday night. After the match, Darlington alleged that Portable used juju (charm) to secure the win.
Shortly after the fight, Burna Boy — who has had an ongoing feud with Darlington — gifted Portable ₦20 million in celebration of his victory.
In his reaction posted via Instagram on Sunday, Speed Darlington threw fresh jabs at Burna Boy, whom he often mockingly refers to as “Long Face.” He accused the Grammy-winning star of obsessively monitoring his online activity.
“Nobody watches you more than your enemy. Because they wanna know if you are doing well. Long Face sleeps on my page. His whole life is now checking up on me,” Darlington wrote.
The exchange adds another layer to the public drama between the entertainers, keeping fans entertained amid the heated rivalry.
