A new political support group, Relax! Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), has announced plans to promote President Bola Tinubu’s administration through a celebrity-driven outreach campaign.
Speaking on Wednesday in Lagos, the group’s convener, Ahmed Bala, said the initiative seeks to reshape public perception and counter opposition narratives ahead of the next electoral cycle.
“The campaign will feature some celebrities in our quest to provide Nigerians with accurate information on the accomplishments of President Tinubu’s administration,” Bala said.
He noted that the movement would mobilize actors, musicians, and entertainers from across Nigeria’s creative industry to amplify the administration’s achievements.
“This movement is designed to give Nigerians the facts – the real achievements – rather than allow misinformation and propaganda by opposition forces to shape public discourse,” he added.
According to Bala, the group’s formal inauguration is scheduled to take place on July 24 in Abuja, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development.
He said the campaign will focus on four core themes: rejecting violence, supporting Tinubu’s mandate, promoting national unity, and enduring the sacrifices necessary for progress.
“We say no to violence. We stand by his mandate to drive Nigeria forward. Together, we build the nation of our dream. No pain, no gain,” Bala stated.
As part of the inauguration ceremony, RTIFN will present a compendium highlighting 223 achievements of the Tinubu administration over the past two years.
