Reactions Trail Iyabo Ojo’s Visit to Seyi Tinubu

Date:

Nigerians are reacting to a viral video showing actress Iyabo Ojo visiting President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu. The video, which was shared on Instagram by fellow actress Toyin Abraham, also featured all three together.

Iyabo Ojo, who openly supported Labour Party’s presidential candidate Peter Obi during the 2023 elections, was previously seen as a prominent voice in the opposition camp. Toyin Abraham, on the other hand, campaigned for APC’s Bola Tinubu, placing the two actresses on opposite sides politically.

The video has sparked speculation of a political shift, with many Nigerians weighing in online.

@OlabunmiAjai wrote, “She has left the Obidient camp? Let’s see how her former Obidients will take this.”

@Sexybrown777 commented, “How Obidients wan take drink water drop cup like this wey one of their key player Aunty Iyabo done leave them go eat big chicken with President son?”

@BayoAdedosu added, “Same Iyabo Ojo! What God cannot do does not exist truly! This is a case of atenu.”

@OmoIyaRisi remarked, “This is why fighting for politicians is just a waste of time. The same Iyabo Ojo that wanted to plunge Lagos into chaos is today wining and dining with omo President.”

@Enjay_L said, “See how joyful Aunty Iyabo is! This is the nature of our politics. People can talk shit about you or your loved ones when far from your circle, but their view shifts when you become accessible.”

@1Emma001 noted, “Na money dem dey negotiate so.”

@didi_Nsute1 asked, “Tinubu dun send him son to tell you his ideas again?”

@bolavicxx stated, “Iyabo Ojo don go beg.”

The meeting has reignited debates about loyalty, political shifts, and the influence of celebrity figures in Nigeria’s political landscape.
