ABUJA — Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, in Abuja.
While details of the closed-door meeting were not made public, sources close to the meeting said discussions centered on national development, inter-state collaboration, and mutual areas of interest between the states and the FCT administration.
The visit comes amid ongoing political consultations across the country, with many governors engaging with federal appointees to strengthen ties and push forward infrastructure and development agendas.
All three leaders — Oborevwori, Nwifuru, and Wike — are members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the meeting is seen by observers as part of broader political alignments ahead of key national decisions.
