Nigerian street-pop singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has intensified his online feud with social media activist VeryDarkMan, with both personalities releasing diss tracks aimed at each other.
The conflict ignited after Portable criticised VeryDarkMan for his frequent attacks on President Bola Tinubu amid Nigeria’s economic challenges. He also accused the activist of exploiting the late singer Mohbad’s tragic death for clout, alleging that justice had not been served in the case.
In retaliation, VeryDarkMan dropped a diss track titled Ole (Yoruba for “thief”), mocking Portable over past theft allegations. He also resurfaced a 2020 video in which Portable was reportedly beaten by a mob over accusations of stealing a phone and tricycle.
Not one to back down, Portable responded on Instagram by sharing old videos of VeryDarkMan in compromising private moments.
The heated exchange has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with fans and observers keeping a close watch on the escalating drama between the two controversial figures.
