Afrobeats star Jaywon has dismissed claims that he’s taking sides in the ongoing tension between music heavyweights Wizkid and Davido.
In a video shared on his TikTok page, the ‘This Year’ singer addressed critics who believe his closeness to Davido automatically places him at odds with Wizkid.
“So because I’m close to Davido that has automatically made me an enemy of Wizkid? Please make it make sense. Make me understand this. I don’t get it,” he said.
Jaywon’s comments come amid renewed fan-fuelled rivalry between Wizkid FC and 30BG, despite both artists maintaining some level of public silence.
