Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin “Falz” Falana has reacted to speculation that he secretly got married after traditional wedding-themed photos of him went viral online.
The images, which sparked a frenzy among fans, were widely believed to be from a real marriage ceremony. However, Falz clarified that they were only part of a photoshoot project.
Speaking via his Instagram account, the rapper joked that when he eventually decides to marry, people might not believe him because of the current episode.
He further noted that while he values his privacy and has no obligation to share personal milestones publicly, he has not completely ruled out making his marriage public if love compels him to.
“When everybody realized I wasn’t really married, people kept saying it’s a case of the boy who cried wolf. Maybe when I do get married nobody will care. It is bold of you to actually assume that if I’m actually getting married, I will share it,” he said.
