Brazilian football star Vinicius Jr. is currently under investigation by FIFA following allegations that could lead to a suspension of up to two years. The Real Madrid winger has had a mixed season with his club, which is trailing in second place in La Liga and has been eliminated from the UEFA Champions League. Individually, Vinicius has posted impressive stats, scoring 105 goals and providing 79 assists in 311 appearances. However, off-field matters have now drawn attention. FIFA’s Ethics Committee has launched a probe after receiving a complaint from Tiberis Holding Do Brasil on April 7. The company alleges that Vinicius may have breached ethics regulations by owning stakes in professional football clubs.According to *MARCA*, the player reportedly has investments in Athletic Club de São João del Rei in Brazil and Alverca in Portugal. Such ownership could be seen as a violation of rules barring active players from holding direct or indirect control over club operations. If found in violation, Vinicius may be forced to relinquish his ownership or face a lengthy suspension from football-related activities.
